Information about the Review Process and
Submitting a Manuscript
Members of a Panel of Readers read, evaluate, and provide comments on all manuscripts deemed appropriate for initial review. All peer reviews are blind. Once the initial review is completed, the Editor makes a decision not to accept, or asks the author to revise and resubmit. There may be rare instances when a manuscript receives reviews that do not call for revisions. When a manuscript is deemed acceptable, the Editor then sends the manuscript to the Associate Editors, who also provide a blind review and write out comments about the quality and appropriateness of the manuscript for Teacher Education Quarterly. Based on the Associate Editors’ review, the Editor then makes the final decision to publish or not.
Authors wishing to submit manuscripts for consideration for publication in Teacher Education Quarterly must submit their manuscript and contact information to the TEQ electronic submission site: http://teq.edresearch.ucdavis.edu
Please Note:
1. Manuscripts must be created with Microsoft Word, double-spaced, between 15-25 pages in length, Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, 1 inch margins, and the names of authors NOT included on the actual manuscript.
